Every story starts with seven quick choices. You can go back and change any of them before Cameron starts writing.
Pick your hero
Choose Cameron the Duck, one of your saved characters, or create a brand new one. Tap Surprise me and Cameron will pick for you.
Add some friends
Up to five friends can join the adventure — or skip straight on and let your hero set off alone.
Choose a world
An enchanted forest, outer space, a pirate island, a dinosaur world — or describe a world of your very own.
Choose the adventure
Rescue a friend, hunt for treasure, meet a magical creature or solve a mystery. This is the shape of the story.
Pick a style
Funny, magical, gentle, silly or a bedtime tale. This sets the mood of the writing.
Choose the length
Short is about 5 minutes, medium about 10, and long about 15 to 20.
Choose an age range
The words and the story shape are written to suit the age you choose, from 3–5 right up to family reading.
Cameron writes it
Tap Create my story and Cameron dreams up a completely original tale with colourful pictures. Pick your favourite title, then the story opens straight away.
Read it together
Turn the pages yourself, or press Auto read and Cameron narrates every page out loud. You can make the text bigger, and switch to a dark background for bedtime.
Keep your stories
Everything you make is saved in My Stories, so you can read it again as often as you like. Your characters are kept in My Characters for the next adventure.
Grown-ups
The Parents area holds child profiles and advertising preferences, and privacy guidance for families.
